Till the beginning of XX century Nizhny Novgorod used to be called “the pocket of Russia”, due to the well known Trade Fair that gathered merchants from Europe and Asia.
In Soviet times our city was famous for the “Volga” cars, “MIG” planes and hydrofoil ships. At that time it was renamed after a famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky.
The modern city combines the traditions of merchants and the industrial progress. With its scientific, industrial, cultural and educational potential Nizhny Novgorod is recognized as the capital of the Volga Federal District. Here you can enjoy comfortable conditions for business and investment.
